Position: Area Manager – Baton Rouge
About: Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor under PFG, maintains close relationships with various local customers such as independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. Their team of experts provides advice on operational improvement, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies to help independent restaurant owners succeed in achieving their goals.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED; 2 years of industry-related experience or equivalent culinary school degree; outside sales experience in a fast-paced environment; excellent verbal and written presentation skills, organizational and time management skills, strong desire to build new business, strong work ethic and attention to details, excellent customer service skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; valid driver’s license with clean driving record and reliable transportation for extensive local travel; infrequent lifting of 25 – 30 pounds may be required; must pass post-offer background and drug test
