Position: Airline Lounges Kitchen Inventory Manager
About: Sodexo Live’s Airport Lounge Segment is offering an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Inventory Manager at Harvey Milk International Airport in San Francisco, CA. This establishment provides an oasis away from the airport hustle, offering comfort and elegance in major airports worldwide. The Kitchen Inventory Manager will oversee the food and beverage program, including food prep/cooks, bartenders, and food attendants, with responsibilities encompassing ordering products, managing inventory, providing program training, and financial reporting. This role requires prior experience in culinary training, ordering, and inventory operations for a restaurant or hotel F&B department, with oversight for both bar and back-of-house operations. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability are essential in this fast-paced environment.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of kitchen inventory and ordering experience; experience in food, beverage, and culinary roles within hotels, restaurants, or similar upscale hospitality venues; utilization of Food Management systems for menu development, ordering, and inventory; oversight of daily food operations to deliver a high-quality product; achievement of company and client financial targets and goals; estimation of food requirements, production planning, and supply requisition; compliance with company safety, risk management, and HACCP policies and procedures; strong leadership skills and collaborative work history; ability to manage multiple priorities, exhibit professional communication skills, and passion for high-level customer service; flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.
