Position: Accelerate Operations Manager Intern – Fort Lauderdale Airport – Summer 2025
About: As an Operations Manager Intern with Avis Budget Group at one of their major airport car rental locations, you will have the opportunity to learn and explore various operational areas. This internship will involve supervising front-line employees, managing fleet vehicles, and overseeing rental operation logistics. You will work closely with associates and managers to drive business results and ensure exceptional employee experiences.
Requirements: Availability to intern full-time on-site at airport location during internship term; Active enrollment in a college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or a business-related field, with expected graduation in Spring 2025, August 2025, or December 2025; Previous internship or work experience in retail, customer service, fast food, or the hospitality industry (preferred but not required); Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions; Strong leadership skills, positive team attitude, and ability to make independent decisions; Effective time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment; Ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail; Excellent communication and teamwork skills; Valid driver’s license and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions; On-site presence required, cannot be performed remotely
