About: Moody Gardens is seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at Caf in the Park, part of the Hotel Food & Beverage division. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in overseeing restaurant operations, ensuring quality service, staff supervision, food production consistency, cost control, and inventory management.
Requirements: High school diploma required; degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management preferred; 1-3 years experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager of restaurant operations; ability to obtain any government required license or certification; knowledge of beverage operations and wines. Must be reliable and responsible; excellent mathematical abilities; effective communication in English; ability to handle customers with patience and diplomacy; Spanish language skills preferred.
