Job Description

StudyPoint is a premier tutoring company that has been dedicated to helping students achieve academic success through personalized, one-on-one tutoring since its founding in 1999. With a strong national presence, the company offers customized support services to students across the United States, particularly those preparing for high school and college admissions. StudyPoint is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment, utilizing state-of-the-art tools and resources that have successfully assisted over 55,000 students in reaching their educational goals.

At StudyPoint, the focus is on providing tailored academic assistance in a variety of subjects including math, language arts, science, and social studies for elementary and middle school students. Unlike impersonal learning centers, StudyPoint emphasizes individualized attention with tutors who are carefully selected for their expertise and commitment to student success. Tutors work in-home, enabling a more personalized and distraction-free learning setting for students. This fosters a positive, safe, and encouraging atmosphere where learners feel confident to engage, ask questions, and improve their skills consistent with their unique needs.

The tutoring role at StudyPoint is designed for individuals who are not only passionate about education but also eager to make a genuine difference in the academic journeys of young learners. Tutors are expected to be dynamic, patient, and engaging educators who thrive in communicating effectively with students, their parents, and the StudyPoint team. The company values organization and adaptability, as tutors must tailor their instructional styles to accommodate the varied learning needs of their students. StudyPoint offers tutors the benefit of designing their own schedules and selecting service areas within numerous communities in Texas including Dallas, Fort Worth, Richardson, Garland, Arlington, Plano, McKinney, Frisco, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Denton, Keller, and Southlake.

An important feature that distinguishes StudyPoint is its employment model. Tutors are hired as W-2 employees rather than independent contractors, which means they receive paid training and the benefits associated with formal employment. This includes referral bonuses for recommending other tutors or students, dedicated managerial and mentor support, and flexibility without restrictive non-compete clauses. As a part-time position with typical hours outside of school times primarily from 3 pm to 9 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 9 pm on weekends, tutors can have a balanced work-life integration while contributing meaningfully to student success.

Overall, StudyPoint is not just an employer but a values-driven education provider committed to excellence in tutoring and student outcomes. With over 20 years of operational success and numerous awards recognizing growth and workplace engagement, the company continues to expand its reach while maintaining high standards. Joining StudyPoint means becoming part of a community focused on fostering academic confidence and long-term achievement for thousands of students across the country. The role offers competitive pay ranging from $28.00 to $32.00 per hour and an opportunity to work in-person, delivering impactful support to students in a variety of educational subjects in a supportive and flexible work environment.
