The role of Senior Director of Strategy and Innovation at Aramark, located at the Philadelphia headquarters, is a pivotal leadership position designed to drive scalable and innovative solutions that accelerate growth, enhance client retention and guest engagement, and improve profitability. This role requires a strategic visionary capable of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with internal and external partners to develop and execute impactful programs. The position offers a dynamic environment where the successful candidate will take ownership of critical projects—overseeing program development from inception to completion, managing budgets, aligning resources, and ensuring timely delivery. Responsibilities include creating data-driven business cases supported by clear key performance indicators (KPIs), designing comprehensive training programs for field teams, and introducing breakthrough innovations in technology, culinary offerings, branding, and operations.

As the Senior Director, you will also be responsible for continuously reviewing and optimizing strategies to maintain a competitive edge and maximize guest satisfaction and profitability. This includes establishing and monitoring success metrics, conducting performance analysis in partnership with culinary, logistics, and third-party collaborators, and refining strategies based on measurable outcomes. Travel comprising 60 percent or more of your time will be necessary to effectively manage and support initiatives across various locations. The role demands strong leadership skills, exceptional communication abilities, and a proven track record of project management excellence to foster a collaborative, results-driven environment. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years of professional experience in marketing, brand management or program development
  • Experience in hospitality, culinary or restaurant industries
  • Skilled in creating adult education and training materials
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Supervisory experience managing cross functional teams
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize multiple inputs into clear recommendations
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more
  • Strong value system and integrity
  • Hands on team player

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Develop and present compelling business cases backed by data-driven insights and clearly defined KPIs to support high impact initiatives
  • Lead end-to-end program development through a systematic process, managing critical workstreams, providing relevant documentation and presenting updates to key stakeholders
  • Design and deliver training and applicable materials that empower field teams to activate scalable solutions effectively
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and manage timelines, budgets and resources for the successful launch, evaluation and continuous improvement of initiatives
  • Lead the ongoing annual review of strategies and processes to enhance guest experience and profitability, including introducing new technologies, menu innovations, branding updates, equipment upgrades and operational improvements
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics, oversee budget execution, and partner with culinary, logistics, third party partners to develop and analyze results and refine strategies based on performance outcomes
