Job Description

Wingstop is a leading restaurant brand known for its commitment to delivering a unique flavor experience through its fresh, never-faked wings, hand-cut seasoned fries, and a variety of famous sides. Since its inception in 1994, Wingstop has grown rapidly, with the first franchised location opening in 1997 and an impressive milestone of serving one billion wings by 2002. As one of the fastest-growing brands in the restaurant industry, Wingstop prides itself on its dedication to flavor and quality, making it a destination for customers who crave exceptional taste and excellent service.

The District Manager role at Wingstop is a vital leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple restaurant locations within a designated region. This position involves providing strategic guidance and operational oversight to General Managers and their teams to ensure that all locations meet company standards and achieve both short-term and long-term objectives. District Managers play a critical role in maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA guidelines, to guarantee a safe and sanitary environment for both guests and employees.

This role demands a combination of leadership, organizational skills, and industry knowledge to drive profitability while fostering a positive guest experience. District Managers are tasked with directing restaurant operations to ensure the highest quality of food, service, cleanliness, and safety standards. The position requires a hands-on approach to managing staff performance, training, and development, as well as enforcing labor standards and cost control measures. With a strong focus on teamwork and problem-solving, the District Manager supports General Managers by providing the necessary counsel to meet sales goals, control food costs, and manage employee wages effectively.

In addition to operational responsibilities, District Managers are expected to continuously evaluate restaurant performance, address issues proactively, and recruit qualified candidates to maintain optimal staffing levels. Familiarity with systems such as Aloha and NBO is an asset, as is the ability to coach managers on progressive discipline and employee development. This role also entails physical demands including standing, walking, lifting, and other movements consistent with restaurant management duties.

Working at Wingstop as a District Manager offers the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, flavor-focused company that values passion, innovation, and a commitment to excellence. Wingstop is more than just a meal provider; it is a brand dedicated to delivering a memorable flavor experience to its customers. This leadership role is integral to the company's continued growth and success, providing opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a tangible impact within the restaurant industry.
