The role of Restaurant Supervisor at Crescent Hotels & Resorts is multifaceted and essential to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of restaurant, bar, and banquet services. The position demands open availability, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the operational needs of the business. Supervisors are expected to perform opening and closing duties for areas and events, ensure that servers and bus staff adhere to service standards, and proactively monitor guest needs to deliver prompt and courteous service. This role requires vigilant oversight of the restaurant environment, including cleanliness, table setup, and service areas, to guarantee an inviting dining experience.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in restaurant or food and beverage supervisory role
  • Ability to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal liquor laws
  • Ability to resolve guest concerns promptly
  • Physical ability to monitor and manage restaurant areas during shifts

Job Duties

  • Opening and closing areas and/or events
  • Monitor servers and bus person adherence to all service standards
  • Supervise service of guests, being watchful of signals from guests in need of service
  • Responding promptly to resolve any guest concerns
  • Assist in establishing and monitoring side work duty completion
  • Check restaurant for cleanliness and set up
  • Check service stands and aisle areas
  • Check tables for cleanliness and proper set up
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
