With a robust portfolio that includes an array of competitive savings and loan products, FourLeaf serves as a reliable partner throughout its members' financial journeys. Whether assisting members in obtaining credit cards, closing mortgages, or opening their children’s first savings accounts, FourLeaf emphasizes delivering exceptional service and support. Recognized as an award-winning workplace, the credit union has earned prestigious accolades such as Certified Great Place to Work 2024-2025, America’s Greatest Midsize Workplaces 2025, Quantum Workplace Employee Voice Award 2024, and Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Financial Services & Insurance 2024. As a community-focused credit union, FourLeaf fuels its vision to enrich lives—members, employees, and communities alike—by engaging actively in charitable giving and community development in New York and beyond. FourLeaf prioritizes creating a welcoming workplace that attracts incredible talent and fosters an inclusive environment where employees thrive and feel valued.
The role of Member Value Personal Banker (MVPB) at FourLeaf is pivotal to the branch’s success, revolving around developing and deepening member relationships while advocating for their best interests with tailored financial products and services. This position is designed for individuals passionate about member service excellence and driven by sales goals, as it directly impacts revenue generation through deposit and loan growth. The role includes a variable pay component tied to achievement of sales objectives, emphasizing both performance and member satisfaction. The MVPB is responsible for executing proactive outreach efforts to grow the member base and financial balances, carefully analyzing member needs, and cross-selling a variety of FourLeaf products like credit and debit cards, online and mobile banking, home equity loans, and business financing opportunities. Operations proficiency is essential, including managing account openings, loan processing, and conducting financial transactions with accuracy and adherence to banking regulations and policies.
In addition to sales and operational responsibilities, MVPBs serve as trusted advisors who ensure an exceptional member experience by providing personalized advice and managing member inquiries efficiently. They maintain high standards of professionalism, delivering prompt follow-ups and clear communications to sustain member trust. The position demands a high level of regulatory compliance, from participating in daily branch controls to detecting and reporting risks or fraud in line with Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering standards. Furthermore, the role supports branch and organizational goals by consistently meeting performance metrics and contributing to overall banking strategies.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and technologically adept, possessing a high school diploma or GED, a NYS Notary Public License, and an NMLS license. Prior experience in sales and service within financial services is crucial, alongside proficiency in PC, Windows, and Internet applications. FourLeaf offers a competitive hourly wage of $28.85 plus commission, reflecting the importance of this revenue-generating position. The credit union also provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision coverage, life and disability insurance, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) plan with employer match, wellness and reimbursement programs, and an annual performance-based bonus. Committed to employee well-being, FourLeaf fosters an engaging workplace with flexible work options, tuition and fitness reimbursement, volunteer opportunities, executive engagement sessions, social clubs, sports, food truck days, and more. This stimulating, member-centered role offers a unique blend of sales, service, and operational responsibilities in a community-oriented, award-winning financial institution dedicated to enriching lives and nurturing success.
