Due to its overwhelming popularity and commitment to community, it evolved into a permanent stand and has since expanded rapidly across the globe. The company’s mission is to Stand For Something Good, reflecting its dedication to quality food, exceptional hospitality, and giving back to the communities it serves. Shake Shack is committed to creating an inclusive and positive work environment where team members, known as the #ShackFam, receive mentorship, training, and growth opportunities in a supportive setting.
The shift manager role at Shake Shack is integral to maintaining the high standards of service, safety, and quality the brand is known for. Shift managers are responsible for managing the flow of service during their shifts, directing and motivating a team of hourly team members to ensure guests have an unforgettable dining experience. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and the ability to support various functions such as purchasing, receiving, and inventory management. Shift managers play a key part in interviewing applicants and assisting with employee relations, fostering a high-performing team aligned with Shake Shack’s values. This position offers a starting hourly wage between $21.00 and $25.00, with an additional $2 per hour for shifts worked after midnight. It also comes with comprehensive benefits and the chance to grow within a fast-paced, fun, and inclusive work culture. Joining Shake Shack means being part of a community committed to doing the right thing for guests, employees, and neighborhoods alike, making it an excellent opportunity for those passionate about hospitality leadership and career development.
