The Food & Beverage Coordinator role at Portland Sports Complex is a full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the Operations Director within the Food & Beverage department. This position is essential to ensuring that all food service operations run smoothly during events hosted at the complex. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, overseeing food preparation and presentation, and ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. Working closely with the Operations Director, the coordinator helps keep all food service locations fully stocked, operational, and running efficiently. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage event setups, maintain kitchen cleanliness, supervise part-time staff, and uphold high standards of food handling and safety. The position demands exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy event-driven environment. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and possess basic computer skills including proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems.

Job Duties
- Prepare menus and displays
- confirm all food and supply inventory before each event
- set up and prepare event areas when needed
- restock items while open to avoid running out of product during event
- always follow all appropriate local and state health department rules and regulations including safe food handling procedures
- maintain clean and functioning kitchens throughout the facility including proper food handling requirements and appropriate food storage temperatures
- supervise part-time staff to ensure safe and proper handling of food, products, and equipment
- perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
