The position focuses on planning, coordinating, and facilitating diverse events such as children’s birthday parties and various craft classes within the store. This includes setting up and breaking down event spaces, managing party add-ons, and communicating effectively with clients and team members. Additionally, you will assist customers in shopping, provide quick and friendly checkout, and support store tasks like stocking, merchandising, and store recovery. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • retail and/or customer service experience required

Job Duties

  • Plan and coordinate multiple events including children’s birthday parties and craft classes
  • engage with clients of all ages by fostering a fun and creative environment
  • demonstrate and instruct craft projects and other party activities such as face painting
  • facilitate party add-ons like goody bags and balloons according to company standards
  • communicate event details clearly with clients and store team members
  • complete administrative tasks including emails, phone calls, and paperwork
  • adjust event plans based on client feedback and develop backup plans
  • ensure client satisfaction and uphold cleanliness and safety standards before and after events
  • help customers shop, locate products and provide solutions
  • provide fast and friendly checkout experience
  • promote rewards program and private label credit cards and complete enrollments
  • educate customers on Voice of Customer surveys
  • assist with omnichannel processes like Buy Online Pickup in Store and Ship From Store
  • participate in truck unloading, stocking and planogram processes
  • complete merchandise recovery and maintenance
  • perform Store in Stock Optimization and AD set duties
  • support shrink and safety programs
  • adhere to standard operating procedures and company policies
  • interact respectfully with customers and team members
  • cross-train in custom framing selling and production
  • participate in daily store cleanliness activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom maintenance
  • perform other duties as assigned
