The Border Patrol operates in diverse environments, ranging from urban areas to remote deserts, ensuring the safety and security of American communities. The agency values teamwork, commitment, and adherence to the highest ethical standards, making it an essential part of national security efforts.
As a Border Patrol Agent, you will be part of a dedicated team that serves the country by enforcing laws along the borders. This role is both challenging and rewarding, offering opportunities to directly impact national security each day. Agents carry out duties such as patrolling border areas, apprehending individuals violating immigration laws, and collaborating with other law enforcement agencies. The job requires physical fitness, mental toughness, and a strong sense of responsibility. It demands a commitment to service, where upholding the trust of the American people is paramount.

Attendees can ask questions, gain insights into life as a USBP agent, and submit their applications on-site. To make the most of this opportunity, prospective applicants are encouraged to prepare by setting up a USAJOBS account, bringing a digital copy of a two-page resume, and if applicable, their DD214 and SF-50 documents.
The Border Patrol Agent position offers a full-time federal career with competitive pay and benefits. Agents often work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with extensive travel to border regions. The role also involves training, continuous learning, and career development opportunities within the federal law enforcement community. Joining the U.S. Border Patrol means becoming part of a respected organization dedicated to protecting the nation while offering career growth, job security, and a chance to serve with honor.
