Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a prestigious private school offering career-focused education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed to provide a nurturing environment for students to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing on-campus to guide and support a group of 8-12 students, offering a family-like structure and essential care.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; both spouses age 27 or older, legally married for at least two years; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policies observed; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model behavior expected from staff members
