Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking Youth Development Specialists to work as flex houseparents in Hershey, PA. This unique opportunity allows married couples to provide guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students in a family-like environment, with all costs covered, including housing and meals.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; no more than three dependent children in the student home; adhere to campus policies including smoke-free, weapon-free environment and no alcohol on duty; comfortable leading students in devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high degree of integrity as role models for students
