Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Youth Development Specialists by being flex houseparents. In this role, couples will provide guidance, support, and a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds in on-campus student homes. Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses must be age 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and certification to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
