Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school provides housing, meals, and comprehensive support, thanks to its full endowment by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909. Currently, MHS is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, guiding and nurturing groups of students on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
