Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is a renowned private educational institution offering a unique environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds to thrive. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed to provide a comprehensive career-focused education, including housing, meals, and more, with all costs covered. The school is currently seeking married couples to join as Flex Houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture a group of students in a family-like structure.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses must be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
