Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents in Hershey, PA. This unique role involves nurturing and guiding students from disadvantaged backgrounds in on-campus student homes, providing them with care, support, and structure.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including smoke-free, weapon-free, and no alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets – fish and one approved breed of dog only; both spouses to complete individual employment application; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students
