Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples for the role of Youth Development Specialists. In this unique position, flex houseparents provide essential guidance and structure to groups of 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, offering a family-like environment and support within the school’s fully endowed campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and certification to drive student home vans; willingness to lead students in daily devotions and attend Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; maintain a smoke-free, weapon-free environment with limitations on pets; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students.
