Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a premier private school founded by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. Flex Houseparents provide a family-like structure for groups of 8-12 students, offering guidance in an on-campus setting. The school covers all costs for students from pre-K through 12th grade, including housing and meals, ensuring a nurturing environment for both students and staff.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
