Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering career-focused education and full support to students from pre-K through 12th grade who come from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school provides housing, meals, and all necessary resources for students and staff to succeed. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to small groups of students in a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and role model behavior for students; both spouses must submit individual employment applications.
