Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required

About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school providing a career-focused education to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offers students housing, meals, and comprehensive support at no cost. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing on campus to provide guidance and nurturing for a group of students.

Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with a minimum of two years of marriage; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; abide by campus rules including a smoke-free, weapon-free environment and no alcohol while on duty; limitations on pets allowing only fish and one approved dog breed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
