Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, providing a career-focused education with housing, meals, and comprehensive support for students in pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. The school is seeking married couples as flex houseparents to guide and nurture a group of 8-12 students on campus, offering a structured and family-like environment for the students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy with no alcohol permitted on duty; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstration of high integrity and role model behavior for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
