Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples for the role of Youth Development Specialist to serve as flex houseparents, providing a nurturing environment for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This unique opportunity includes guiding students, administering medication, and cultivating a family-like atmosphere within on-campus student homes.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; able to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
