Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) provides an exceptional career-focused education with housing and meals to students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is fully endowed, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offering resources for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; abide by campus regulations including smoke-free, weapon-free environment and no alcohol on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
