Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private educational institution that offers a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade coming from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides students with housing, meals, and comprehensive support at no cost, creating an enriching environment for both students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to a small group of students, offering a family-like structure and handling various responsibilities.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; legally married for a minimum of two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity; both spouses to complete individual employment applications
