Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private institution offering pre-K through 12th-grade education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, with a focus on career development. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides housing, meals, and full financial coverage for all students. The school is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes and providing guidance and support to groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for couples married for at least two years; both spouses should be 27 years or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol, smoke-free environment, limitations on pets, and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high level of integrity; both spouses must complete individual employment applications
