Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and full support to students in pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds at their campus in Hershey, PA. They are currently seeking married couples to work as Flex Houseparents, providing guidance and a nurturing environment for a small group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; must abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity and be willing to be role models for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
