Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. Houseparents provide guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds, residing in on-campus homes to ensure a family-like structure while managing daily responsibilities such as transportation, medication administration, and budgeting.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
