Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and support to students from pre-K through 12th grade from underprivileged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, providing resources for students and staff to thrive. Currently, MHS is seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing on-campus to guide and nurture a small group of students while maintaining a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be 27 or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; must demonstrate a high level of integrity as role models for students; both spouses to complete individual employment applications.
