Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School, a leading private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents in Hershey, PA. This unique role involves providing a nurturing environment for 8-12 students in on-campus homes, guiding youth from disadvantaged backgrounds, managing home responsibilities, and creating a family-like structure.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children allowed in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol on duty, smoke-free and weapon-free campus, and limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application
