Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School is a renowned private school offering exceptional career-focused education and housing for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds, completely covered with housing, meals, and various resources thanks to the endowment from Milton and Catherine Hershey. They are currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, providing guidance and support to groups of 8-12 students on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in underserved settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity and act as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment application
