Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents to provide guidance and support to 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This unique role involves living on campus and ensuring a nurturing environment for the students.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking them to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services (Note: Proselytizing is prohibited); must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students.
