Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, is a prestigious private educational institution providing exceptional career-focused education with housing, meals, and comprehensive support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offers a fully endowed environment ensuring students and staff have everything needed to succeed. Currently, MHS is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing on campus and nurturing groups of students in a family-like setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high integrity and ability to be a role model for students
