Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering pre-K through 12th-grade education to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides a career-focused education with housing and meals fully covered, creating a supportive environment for both students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture a group of students while providing essential support.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses should be age 27 or older; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity as role models for students; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Sunday chapel services; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol while on duty, smoke-free, weapon-free environment, and restrictions on pets
