Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: The Milton Hershey School (MHS) in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, providing guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds in a nurturing family-like environment on campus. The school offers a unique educational experience for students from pre-K through 12th grade, covering all costs for housing, meals, and more, thanks to its fully endowed resources.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and certification to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children may reside in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed dog allowed; high degree of integrity and ability to serve as a role model for students.
