Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) provides an exceptional career-focused education with housing, meals, and more for students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is fully endowed by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offering resources for students and staff to thrive. MHS is hiring married couples to become flex houseparents, providing nurturing care for groups of students on campus.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses age 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus regulations including no alcohol on duty, smoke-free, and weapon-free environment; valid driver’s license; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity and ability to serve as role models for students
