Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents for students from underprivileged backgrounds. This unique role provides a family-like environment and requires active involvement from both spouses in guiding and nurturing students on campus.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; capacity to lift up to 50 lbs; commitment to lead students in daily devotions and accompany them to Sunday chapel services; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy adherence; no alcohol allowed while on duty; limitations on pets with only fish and one approved breed dog permitted; demonstration of high integrity as role models for students
