Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, providing guidance and support to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. Flex Houseparents create a family-like environment for students and play a crucial role in their holistic development within the school’s unique educational setting.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from underserved settings; legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity as a role model for students; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses.
