Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering career-focused education and full support to students in pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed, providing students and staff with everything they need to succeed. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing on-campus to nurture and guide groups of students in a family-like environment.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; this is a two-person job for couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including being smoke-free and weapons-free, no alcohol on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
