Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution, is seeking married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, providing a supportive environment for students in pre-K through 12th grade. Couples in this role offer guidance and nurturing to students, creating a family-like setting while managing daily tasks such as driving and budgeting. The school, founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, covers all expenses for students and staff, ensuring a thriving educational experience.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; demonstrate a high degree of integrity as a role model for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application
