Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private school founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to become flex houseparents, providing a family-like environment for students from pre-K to 12th grade. Flex houseparents offer guidance, manage household tasks, and ensure a supportive living space for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; married couples with at least two years of legal marriage; both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and to Sunday chapel services; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; limitations on pets (only fish and one approved breed dog allowed); high degree of integrity as both spouses are role models for students
