Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private educational institution offering career-focused education and full support to students from pre-K through 12th grade who come from disadvantaged backgrounds. Established in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, the school is fully endowed to provide all necessary resources for student and staff success. MHS is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to provide guidance and support to a small group of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; abide by campus rules including no smoking, weapons, or alcohol on duty; limited pet policy; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading daily devotions and attending Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED; able to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
