Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) is a renowned private school offering a career-focused education to students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, MHS provides housing, meals, and a fully covered educational experience. MHS is currently seeking married couples to join as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to support and nurture groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; married couples legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus; valid driver’s license; ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions; high school diploma or GED; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; high degree of integrity; completion of individual employment applications by both spouses
