Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, provides an exceptional career-focused education with housing, meals, and comprehensive support to students from pre-K through 12th grade, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is currently seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents, residing in on-campus student homes to guide and nurture a group of approximately 8-12 students.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses should be age 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all staff are role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
