Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private educational institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking married couples to serve as flex houseparents. In this unique role, houseparents provide guidance and nurture to a group of 8-12 students from disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring a supportive living environment within on-campus student homes.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; couples must be legally married for at least two years; both spouses aged 27 or older; limit of three dependent children in the student home; adhere to campus rules such as no smoking, weapons, or alcohol while on duty; possess a valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate high integrity and act as a role model for students; both spouses must complete individual employment applications.
