Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) offers a unique opportunity for married couples to become flex houseparents, residing on campus to guide and nurture a group of students from pre-K through 12th grade. The school, endowed by Milton and Catherine Hershey in 1909, provides a comprehensive career-focused education for students from disadvantaged backgrounds, covering all costs including housing and meals.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; Two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage; Both spouses aged 27 or older; No more than three dependent children in the student home; Smoke-free and weapon-free campus with no alcohol permitted on duty; Limitations on pets: only fish and one approved breed of dog allowed; Valid driver’s license; Comfortable leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; High school diploma or GED required; Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; Demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; Both spouses must submit individual employment applications.
