Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School, a renowned private institution founded in 1909 by Milton and Catherine Hershey, is seeking Youth Development Specialists to serve as flex houseparents for students from disadvantaged backgrounds. This unique role involves guiding approximately 8-12 students in a nurturing family-like environment, ensuring their well-being and providing essential support.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED required; experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings; married couples legally married for at least two years and both spouses aged 27 or older; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; valid driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and taking students to Judeo-Christian Sunday chapel services; all staff must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as role models for students; both spouses must complete an individual employment application
