Position: Youth Development Specialist – Relocation to Hershey, PA Required
About: Milton Hershey School (MHS) provides an exceptional career-focused education with housing, meals, and full coverage of all costs for students from pre-K through 12th grade from disadvantaged backgrounds. The school is endowed by Milton and Catherine Hershey, offering resources for students and staff to thrive. MHS is currently seeking married couples to work as flex houseparents on campus, providing a supportive family-like structure for groups of students.
Requirements: Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably in under-served settings; this is a two-person job for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage, both spouses aged 27 or older; no more than three dependent children in the student home; smoke-free and weapon-free campus, no alcohol on duty; limitations on pets; valid driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans; comfortable leading students in daily devotions and chapel services, high school diploma or GED required; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; demonstrate a high degree of integrity; both spouses must complete an individual employment application.
